Setup a dial-up connection

Can't connect to the Internet using your Mobile Broadband utility? You may may manually setup a dial-up connection if you have issues with the utility. This workaround is applicable to all service providers and all Operating Systems (XP/Vista/7). The look may be quite different but the options are similar.

This should work as long as there are no problems with your Mobile Internet service account.

1.  Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Setup up a connection or network.
2.  Select Set up a Dial-up connection > Click Next.
3.  Input the following Information:
  • Phone Number: *99***1#
  • Username and Password: (leave blank)
4.  Click Connect.
